The 23rd Annual Ramp Festival was held May 10, 2008 at the Flag Pond Community Center in what used to be the Flag Pond Elementary School. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment, the Raw Ramp Eating Contest, and eating Fried ‘taters and ramps, soup beans, cornbread, bacon, and coleslaw, and dessert.
